Mercedes and Noémie, the mother-daughter duo behind Belgian label Sea Me Happy have been designing comfortable and colourful clothes since 2016. Although they both have degrees in interior design, they ended up in fashion together. They love travelling and both have a passion for adventure. During their various trips and holidays, they get inspired by the many colours and experiences, which we see reflected in the designs of the Sea Me Happy collections.
About 80% of the Sea Me Happy collection is handmade in Belgium, while the rest of the items are made by small family businesses. The brand works mainly with EcoVero fabrics, modal and organic cotton. In addition, most garments consist of a single material, making them easy to recycle if necessary. The remaining fabrics (still around 20%) are donated to sewing workshops and schools where students learn to sew, this way the fabrics are put to good use.
One size fits most
One size fits most? That sounds daring, but the Sea Me Happy fit of the dresses, jackets, blouses and jumpers are perfect for every figure. Ther really fit everyone. It's a different story with the trousers, which are therefore available in four sizes.
Their colourful garments make us happy as well and we love their optimistic outlook on life. Sea Me Happy: do more in life what makes you happy.
